BEASTLY
Your car breaks down in the middle of winter, and you are left with the choice of dying from hypothermia in the freezing weather, or entering a large abandoned mansion.
(Music is copyright-free, I made it)
THIS IS EARLY ACCESS. THERE ARE MANY VISUAL AND SOUND BUGS.
Click on the game a second time after running it to initialize it completely.
Controls and Instructions…
Simple controls:
- WASD to move.
— Hold SPACE to sprint.
— E to interact.
— M to open your map.
— Hold Q for 3 seconds to search furniture.
— Press R to knock on doors and scare the Hide-Behind away. Be careful: This summons the Grundell to your floor.
Simple instructions:
Find 3 fuses hidden around the house, power the metal door, and unlock it with a key. Then, you can finally escape.
There is 1 hiding place on each level, where you can find refuge when being chased. These take the form of beds and wardrobes. Most other furniture can be searched.
The Beasts:
— The Grundell
A corpse taken over by a powerful parasitic creature, slowly increasing in power as it takes victims.
— The Hide-Behind
A tall and slender mythical cryptid that hides behind doors to absorb its victims.
— The Jumping-Jaw
A beast infesting a dead body in order to catch its victims by surprise.
Tips!
— Knock on a door and quickly go to another floor to lure the Grundell away!
— Always wait at a door to hear if the Hide-Behind is there.
— Keep note of your location – knowing the nearest safe room or hiding spot can save your life!
